I take instruction from solicitors, barristers, and people involved in family court cases. Much of the work I do for courts involves assessing the life situations of families.
My skills include
Writing Section 7 and Section 37 reports in private law cases.
Parenting assessments.
Assisting divorcing parents to develop parenting plans especially when there has been a real breakdown in communication.
Working with families and their legal representatives to assess the psycho-social impacts in immigration matters.
Conducting parenting assessments of parents involved with local authority child protection services. Work with local authorities and private clients who require a completely independent and impartial assessment.
Making viability assessments for special guardianship orders, and kinship care assessments.
Organising international social work assessments with family members who live in other countries requiring assessments.
A client wrote this review of my work in 2021 "Doug Racionzer’s ISW report, with all it’s innovative mechanisms, has made a greatly positive impact upon my Child Arrangements matter. Both the court and the legal practitioners involved have praised his work as providing a great insight into the whole proceeding"
